Some of our designs are printed using a digital transfer process. This enables us to produce these designs on demand. The method we use to print is dependent on the design and finish we would like to achieve. Sometimes we use more than one print method on a particular garment.
1. Digitally Printed Transfers
The designs are printed with solvent ink onto textile media, contour cut and then heat transferred to the garment.
This print method produces a very durable print that if looked after properly will sometimes even outlast the garment.
2. Flex, Flock and Foil Transfers
This print method is ideally suited to simple text designs, or non-intricate designs, The sheet media is contour cut and then heat transferred to the garment. We use this print method for designs that are not very intricate or have multiple colours.
3. Sublimation Transfers
We mainly use this process to print on non-garment items such as mugs. The design is printed using special inks and papers and then heat pressed onto the mug. The resulting image has beautiful vibrant colours.
